Genre classification
[edit]Since there has been some back-and-forth about the film's genre in the lead, I thought I'd include a survey of the top three sources we use to determine this:
AFI BFI AllMovie Comedy, Fantasy (link) Animation, Adventure (link) Children's/Family, Adventure, Comedy (link)
It appears "comedy" and "adventure" are the most common. I'll insert that citing the AllMovie source. --GoneIn60 (talk) 08:30, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish article
[edit]Should we create an article for the sequel, "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish"? We know the directors of the film, and IMDb claims that the film is in post-production. Red4Smash (talk) 21:29, 27 September 2021 (UTC)
- Red4Smash, as of August 2021, we still didn't have confirmation that production started. It's a fair assumption that it has, however, considering the release date is less than a year away and films (even animated films) typically take 2-3 years to complete. Despite this "fair assumption" though, you're still going to need a couple solid sources that confirm it before creating the page. Might be best to bring it up at WT:FILM, which will get the attention of editors with more experience in this realm. And for the record, IMDB is not considered a reliable source for this kind of information. --GoneIn60 (talk) 08:52, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Now that the trailer for The Last Wish was released, will the article be published soon? Red4Smash (talk) 16:49, 15 March 2022 (UTC)
Can we have the Last Wish article now...please?
[edit]I already said this in a different section on this page, but I think it's time that Puss in Boots: The Last Wish got its own article. There's a trailer for the film, new cast members have been announced, and we already have some info about the film's development. What more does it need to branch out into its own article?
