Isn't the ending somewhat ambiguous? The camera pans out to show a rainforest, but given the state of the movie's world and the general bleak tone of the film, I'm not convinced that the rainforest is literally there- it strikes me as too uplifting. Not to say that I'd rule the possibility out, but I think that if there's some doubt, the article shouldn't out and out put that forward as the ending. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chene1994 (talk • contribs) 06:42, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that the ending is ambiguous. Perhaps we should change "revealing" into "depicting" to add a certain level of doubt to the forest. Also, and this may be a minor point, but there is a mountain range between Asha and the forest. To say that the forest was "beside" her feels misleading. Tunisiatai (talk) 20:20, 11 March 2017 (UTC)I agree and made the changes so that it would not be as misleading. It is still hard to really saw what happens at the end since it is left to interpretation and other viewers may not get the sense that it is uplifting, but rather see the ending as more depressing since she did not reach that forest.[reply]
