PLC in Russia

The LOMO article says "The company went public in 1993, and was renamed LOMO PLC; it is traded on the RTS Classic Stock Market." This is supported by their website and by the Moscow Exchange. Does PLC have a similar meaning in Russia as in the UK and Ireland, or is it an unrelated acronym? Verbcatcher (talk) 18:35, 5 October 2016 (UTC)
