Should be renamed to "Internal Security Forces (Syria)"

As can be seen in the official website of the Syrian Interior Ministry (under the Assad regime), the official name of the national police is "Internal Security Forces". http://moia.gov.sy/portal/site/arabic/index.php

In turn, the Internal Security Forces are divided into various Directorates (some of them described in the article), all of which fall under the Interior Ministry.

Furthermore, the Gendarmerie no longer exists.
