Major edit
Lots of issues with this article, particularly unsourced statements, claims and opinions. I've cut down a lot to increase readability and usefulness.
I've removed the Public-private partnerships in specific countries section to their own article, and moved most of the specific cases info there or into the Origins or Definition section. Controversy has been renamed Efficacy as it deals almost exclusively with data and less to do with politics.
The Finance section needs expert eyes. The non-profit section at the bottom reads like a how-to manual and should be summarized or cut.

- You shouldn't have done this. Many pages link to country-specific sections of this page and those sections have been deleted. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinano_Railway for example linking to the Japan section when referring to "third sector" companies. 98.210.50.216 (talk) 14:26, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Em-dash in title
Anyone have any idea why an em-dash (rather than an en-dash or an even more standard hyphen) was used in the title of this article? I think it is screwing with the Search bar's ability to surface the article to users. - AppleBsTime (talk) 01:50, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
- Nevermind -- I quickly found Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style#Dashes is the reason. - AppleBsTime (talk) 01:53, 14 August 2020 (UTC)
