The photo of "Psycroptic" provided is not Psycroptic. It is a Swedish death metal act called "Dismember".

I havn't checked this page for awhile, but when I last did it was definately Psycroptic. I know them. I will upload a new one that I can guarentee is the current line-up.

I agree with your removing of the info on Chalky's vocals though, it wasnt really relavant.

The photo that's there currently is off Pyromusic.net. Unless Pyro himself posted it, I think that breaches free use. Might be time to find another one.BrianFG 07:38, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Just checked the details of that pic, and Pyro did post it. So I guess it's ok. And it's definitely not of Dismember.BrianFG 07:41, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just fixed some grammer on the page too, then realised I have no idea how to upload pics... the ones on their myspace are all current, so someone else can do it. www.myspace.com/psycroptic

You can't upload pics from bands' myspace pages into Wikipedia. It's in breach of the free use agreement. Best take a photo of them next time they're playing and post that.BrianFG 07:38, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of the halmanhalfmachine comment

[edit]

I deletd the comment that said "Drummer Dave Haley is listed as the 14th best metal drummer, on halfmanhalfmachine.net"because the site itself does not rate the drummers on their ability, but hes #14 just because he was the 14th person to do stuff for the site. The site has the drummers listed by who did the drum interview as you might call them first

I'm changing the sentence "Interestingly, all but one song by the band feature no solos (Not typical of the genre)." It just sounds stupid. "Interestingly, only one song by the band features a solo (not typical of the genre)."

The Amenta

[edit]

Someone in the know please assist me here. Dave plays as "Diazanon" in The Amenta, this much everyone knows, but on the Psycroptic website it is said that Joe also plays in the band. The question I'm asking is, is Joe "Ethion" (The Amenta's permanent guitarist), or is he the uncredited touring guitarist (when they played with Behemoth they had two guitarists)? In any case, I think it's worth putting this on the page somewhere.

Joe Haley is Ethion. I've completely redone this site to make mention of all the members' other bands.BrianFG 07:30, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've had a go at wikifying the refs and some formatting of the content. Some of the current refs are not reliable or deadlinked. The article requires more work to reach C-level but I'm moving on.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 02:27, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
