Monospecific genera
[edit]Jeanloujustine, if you want to check out a few examples. this is how we generally treat monospecific taxa: list the species directly in the infobox, and make the text about the species, rather than the genus with an extra "listing" of the single species. See random examples - Diasporangium, Balamuthia mandrillaris, Sawyeria, Capsaspora, Carpediemonas.
You are right that it is desirable to have the genus authority displayed in the box, which suggests using the taxobox template rather than the speciesbox. I'll reinsert that. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:24, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
- Ideally we should do the same thing to Pseudomurraytrematoides, the one other monotypic taxon article you created. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 08:33, 27 December 2018 (UTC)
