Phagophobia difference?
[edit]What is the difference between pseudodysphagia and phagophobia, they seem very similar if not identical to me.Nikolaih☎️📖 22:45, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
References cleanup
[edit]I just finished cleaning up the references on the page (for the most part). There’s a few things I have to note:
- A previous editor skirted the spam blacklist for Verywellmind by removing the d from the URL in the citation. Caught this on accident. Given this is probably only my second time dealing with references (I usually only fix grammar/spelling issues), I’m not sure how this should be handled. The discussion on this source is at MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist/archives/April_2020#Verywell. I did read that URLs can be requested to be manually whitelisted, but I’m not sure if that applies to this instance.
- I added in multiple missing citations that were referenced in the article. I might remove some of those warnings after this post, if they’re good now. Likewise, there were some citation needed warnings as well, but all the referenced text appears to reference those citations I added. I might remove those as well if necessary.
- There’s a Whitehead & Schuster 1985 citation, and a Whitehead & Schuster 1958 citation right beneath. I tried searching online for the 1958 study (and added the 1985 study which I did find), but couldn’t find it. Given the years are 1985 and 1958, I’m fairly certain the editor who added them just transposed the digits. I’m not going to alter the reference and remove the warning, just in case someone else after me can find it. Feel free to copy the citation over if you think it’s fine to. I'll move it to the reflist so it can be referenced by name in a bit just in case.
- The other references at the bottom were not explicitly referenced in the text. Given I really don’t know how to access these online (and really don’t have the time to right now), I’m not sure where to place the ref tags in the article. Perhaps, later, another editor can help deal with this.
This is really my first time cleaning up references on a larger scale, and the first time I’ve changed the ref style from a deprecated style like parenthetical citations. I’m fairly certain I did it right, but feel free to let me know if I didn’t. I’d like to fix more references and whatnot on other articles in the future, so that would help a lot. Happy Halloween.
