Scandals and allegations of corruption
[edit]This article reads like an official press release by the bank.
Could someone with better wiki-skills please add a section mentioning the political affiliations of the bank, and the scandal involving it's bailout with taxpayer money? Otherwise I'll try doing it myself in a couple of days.

I deleted some information-free corporatespeak and added some wiki links. Leaving the flags up as it may be possible to further improve this with a second pass. Not up for researching corruption right now, although someone seems to have already at least started a section on it. hth Elinruby (talk) 10:41, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- I don't think this looks like an official press release anymore, but I'm leaving in the advert tag because it feels "off": the bank's stated aim is to show that it has a tradition dating back to 1901, and indeed that's more or less all this article has to say about the bank - this article appears to be making the history blander and perhaps more legitimate-appearing than it really is. There is definitely more to be added here to make the article actually neutral, rather than just appearing neutral. -- asilvering (talk) 00:07, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
