Claude Langham: Dirk Bogarde - Francous Perier

Kevin Woodford: David Warner - Gerard Depardieu

Sonia Langham: Ellen Burstyn - Nelly Borgeaud

Clive Langham: John Gielgud - Claude Dauphin

What does this mean? Is there an alternate French version of this film with Gerard Depardieu in the David Warner part and Claude Dauphine in the John Gielgud part? I see no record anywhere of such a thing

What on earth is the story behind the final credits of this film?
