Removed the 'parties to the civil conflict' section in the infobox

[edit]

Protests against a sitting President aren't really a 'civil conflict' and as such shouldn't necessitate the designation of certain people having official roles on either side. People who protested weren't specifically pro-Clinton or pro-Biden, and Clinton and Biden certainly didn't lead any protests.

Flush-in?

[edit]

Wasn't there a flush-in protest against Trump tower in NYC in the 1970's or 1980's? Am I remembering that right? Victor Grigas (talk) 04:05, 21 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article split.

[edit]

This article should be split to seperate his First from his Second term Lukt64 (talk) 02:10, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Lukt64: You might want to explain why. I would not inherently oppose such a split, but I would want to be convinced that a good reason exists for it and that it would be performed more neatly than the previous attempt – the title of the page about protests during the second Trump term would probably be more like "Protests against the second presidency of Donald Trump" than "Protests against Donald Trump (Second term)", and such a split should be performed evenly with the first term, either through a refocusing of the current article into "Protests against the first presidency of Donald Trump" or creation of a new article at that title. –Gluonz talk contribs 02:27, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because his second term is likely just going to be much different than his first, he is promising much more conservative policies and its very likely that by the end of 2026, this page would require a split due to size. Lukt64 (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed We should have one for his pre-presidency, first presidency, inter-presidency and his second presidency. Vinnylospo (talk) 00:44, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Heritage Foundation Protests

I think these protests should be listed on here. https://www.cnn.com/webview/politics/live-news/trump-election-house-11-09-24/index.html?cid=ios_app GamerKlim9716 (talk) 22:39, 9 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
