[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because. The Evangelical Church in Baden is a religious body, founded in 1821 by uniting Lutheran and Reformed churches in Baden and with nowadays more than 1.2 million parishioners it is to last. The Evangelical Church in Baden is a statutory-law corporation. First named the United Evangelical Protestant State Church of Baden the church renamed as the "Evangelical Church in Baden" after WWI (and the experiences of the Kirchenkampf with the Nazis demand for a political national church) in order to account for the fact that church bodies imply an allegiance to faith more than to a certain nation.
