Additional editions and resources
[edit]In researching this text (thanks in large part to Wikipedia), I've come across a few more resources which I'd like to see added to the article.
- The Internet Archive scan of Westlake's 1913 edition. It's freely accessible, and I suspect should either be its own reference, or linked off of the reference entry on Wakefield's edition.
- Julie Chappell's 1989 dissertation, upon which her 1992 edition was based. The full text is freely downloadable at U. Washington's DSpace repository The prose Alexander of Robert Thornton: the Middle English text with a modern English translation
- A future crowdsourced e-text version of Wakefield's edition which I will be hosting.
I'd appreciate any help formatting these references, or advice on where to put them in the article. -Ben (talk) 12:58, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
- Take a look at the references on Bugonia, and also take a look at the tool http://reftag.appspot.com/ Craig Pemberton (talk) 17:31, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
- I try to make the original texts directly available by a link if possible. I also try to link to the relevant section. Craig Pemberton (talk) 17:45, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
