P3 / P4
What about the successors of P2 ? (see also the german article) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.179.48.213 (talk) 11:38, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

what seems to be the missing link ?? Vjiced (talk) 06:26, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- While the cited source does discuss concerns about Andean Lima Bank, and Banco Ambrosiano in connection to the missile transaction ... it does not make the connection to Propaganda Due (the subject of this article). It does not mention P2 at all. You are the one implying the link between the transaction and P2 (via the banks). This is improper Original Research. What you need is a reliable source that makes all the connections. Blueboar (talk) 15:55, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Chronological order
The article could really stand to have everything placed in chronological order. As it is, it jumps from 1945 to 1981, 1977, 1982, 1981, some unspecified time after 1981 (the "Criminal Organization" section), back to 1981. It makes it extremely hard to follow. Specific Improvements
"It detailed the payment of US$7 million by the president of ENI, Florio Fiorini through Roberto Calvi to the Italian Socialist Party (PSI) leader Claudio Martelli on behalf of Bettino Craxi, the socialist Prime Minister from 1983–1987." This sentence in the Protezione Account section could be worded clearer. Additionally, more information in general needs to be given on the Protezione Account as the scandals with Calvi heavily influenced the namesake of P2. What was P2
P2 was a masonic lodge, therefore the suggestion that it was a "clandestine, pseudo-Masonic, ultraright organization operating in contravention of Article 18 of the Constitution of Italy that banned secret associations" is largely false. It was no more clandestine than any Masonic organization, it WAS a masonic organization, not pseudo-Masonic. As for being ultraright, that is a matter of opinion.Royalcourtier (talk) 23:14, 9 September 2016 (UTC)
- The article says "transformed into". Clandestine is an American masonic term for "unrecognised", and nobody would dispute that at the time of its demise, the purpose of P2 had moved well beyond Freemasonry. The question is the complicity of the Grand Orient of Italy in this transformation, and we need pretty good references before making libellous accusations against extant organisations.
