"Closing the eyes accentuates the effect, because the brain is deprived of information about the position of hte body, and must rely on visual cues" I think I get what this sentence is trying to say but it's a little confusing. My understanding was that when a person closes their eyes, they can no longer rely on visual cues and instead must rely on proprioception. Can anyone confirm and if so, I'll rewrite the sentence?
