It was suggested that Tour promoter be merged into this article. It sounds like a good idea to me if it can be done well, without degrading the quality of that article - even though I started this one, I think that is a better article. This one definitely needs citations and some organization. It's also a bigger subject, in that a promoter in the general sense includes DJ promoters, sports and events promoters, promoters hired by a venue or independent, promotions companies, etc. That means that some of the material in tour promoter should have its own section, as detail about a specific type of promoter.Wikidemon (talk) 06:17, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, those two articles have very similar subjects. The lead of Tour promoter is decent so I hope it survives the merge.
