[edit]The second section of this article appears to be nothing but a sales pitch for the company listed in the external links. No objective verifiable information is presented. External links should be to available sources of reference material on the subject, not to a vendor's sales site.56.0.163.16 20:46, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
The authors intend to rectify this perceived shortcoming over the coming weeks. Markhenrys (talk) 18:30, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
Roles?
[edit]The "Roles" section does not specify roles. In addition, not all of what it specifies is within the scope of Project Governance as I understand it. The next section, listing the Elements is much more appropriate. E.g. establishing the foundation of project governance cannot happen within project governance. Evaluating and selecting project proposals is also outside the scope of project governance as defined here: project governance assumes the project proposal has already been approved by the organization, e.g. within the framework of corporate (IT) governance or if there is a hierarchy, within the frameworks of program or portfolio governance. I've removed the unsourced material and added a description of the role of the project sponsor with a reference to a publication from the UK Association for Project Management. I'll do some research on other roles and add them shortly — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.147.229.65 (talk) 18:25, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
