Fiber Optic Cable Internet Availability in the Cities of Progreso and Progreso Lakes, Texas
[edit]Since the inception of the Internet, the City Of Progreso has been under served regarding Internet services. SmartCom Telephone and Internet based out of McAllen, realized this gap and came up with a solution. SmartCom has installed fiber optic cable all over the city, including the City of Progreso Lakes, the Subdivisions of Ranchitos 88 and Gran Esperanza along Military Highway and Highway 88, south of the Floodway.
Every resident and business is able to obtain Fiber Optic Cable Internet for "Speed of Light" Internet access, and the consistency of being wired into a robust reliable network. Fiber is the technology of the future, and out performs any copper, satellite, or Radio Wireless product based product in the Market. Pricing for this product is less than Wireless Radio and Satellite. Given the nature of Fiber vs. Wireless Radio, Satellite, or Copper product, brings a value that is far beyond any Internet product in the Marketplace. 64.88.199.2 (talk) 16:01, 26 April 2023 (UTC)
