On need of Creating and Entry for Professional Studies
Since there is multiple academic offerings for many years now in what is so-called professional studies, and nobody has inputted an entry to clarify it or a least to define it as yet, obviously until now, it seems important to explain what professional studies are, We could help our WikiReaders to find this information; for instance, specifically what are the differences between Bachelors or Masters of science in Information Technology and Bachelors or Master of professional studies on Information Technology? Why should any prospect student decide for enrolling in the latter or why in the former? What insights or skills she/he will be getting, when opting for one or the other? I think Wikipedia readers, and by extension anyone, would benefit for such a general introduction and explanation to this kind of soft academic "prefix" so often used but very little or not too well explained term: Professional Studies, at least in here. -Veritas Longa14:56, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree! However, the article itself should make that point. Otherwise this description might as well be a blurb at the top of the list of Master's programs (are there more than one Doctor's program? any Bachelor's programs?). Vagary21:54, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is a good start though, and I think there are many Bacherlors and more doctoral programs, but let us see how we can contribut to this page then -vivere est cogitare 17:52, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
I put the template flags on to call in more help: some editors use the categories to find work. Remove them if you think they're not correct? Vagary18:46, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
