[edit]The last one-sentence paragraph of this article makes little sense. "For anyone to be able to display any kind of PMI View, Adobe Systems has unified their format and added their description to the PDF format (version 1.7)." Who is "anyone?" People can't display PMI Views. CAD or viewing applications can. What is the meaning of "Adobe Systems has unified their format and added their description to the PDF format." The PDF format is Adobe's and now incorporates 3D representations. I guess what the author was driving at is that Adobe's 3D PDF can display PMI on 3D models provided that the CAD System that has generated a model has attached PMI to it. I suggest the last sentence be rewritten to clarify the author's intent. And if the assertion is true (I myself haven't seen it), then applicable Adobe documents should be cited.Cyon Steve (talk) 23:37, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Update the article
[edit]I'm looking at an update to this article, but it is hard to find non-vendor sources. The best explanation I can find from a more neutral source is [1]. Anyway, I'm looking to clean up this article a bit to be better organized and more accurate. Any help would be appreciated. For example, the description found at the link above much more clearly describes PMI in one paragraph than this whole article does in 3. — fcsuper (How's That?, That's How!)
