Why does Japan hold BWR-5 to higher standards than BWR-4
In the section PSA for nuclear power plants it says Japan has different (higher/safer) criteria for BWR-5 design than BWR-4 design, but does not say why. Are these the standards for new plants, or to operate existing plants (which would make a kind of sense) ? - Rod57 (talk) 14:49, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
