[edit]I have reverted a long post which consisted of a translation of a portion of the work into English; this is the sort of thing that belongs on Wikisource, not Wikipedia. Cheers. --BaronLarf 01:26, August 15, 2005 (UTC)
I have deleted from the article the passage "Cicero was known as a prosecutor and it was unusual that he would defend a young noble from the provinces." In fact, Cicero was known as a defender and it was very unsual for him to act as a prosecutor. (The only case I know of is the case against Verres.) Also, Cicero often defended provincial clients.
