[edit]I think there are essential things missing, such like scenes being not shot in the order as they appear in the film and the clapperboard and ... and ... and .... The article is quite short. As I'm neither a film expert nor English I don't want to edit the article, but it would be nice if someone could... ;-) 84.163.87.46 17:07, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Principal Photography as distinct from Second Unit
[edit]Principal photography as defined here is different from my understanding of the term. In the article as it stands, it defines it as being essentially all photography, excluding pre-production and post-production. My understanding is that the term normally refers to filming by the Principal Unit (aka First Unit) as opposed to the Second Unit. This will normally include all of the filming of the Principal Cast. This definition is supported by the first reference that I checked (Career perspectives in electronic media by Peter B. Orlik), here: http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=0OPtGlqpzO8C&pg=PA76&lpg=PA76&dq=principal-photography+principal-cast&source=bl&ots=Majp3_ER70&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=10&ved=0CGQQ6AEwCTgU#v=onepage&q=principal-photography%20principal-cast&f=false. Would anyone else care to comment on this? 86.7.30.217 (talk) 08:07, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
Fix the run on sentence in the last paragraph
[edit]There is a run on sentence in the last paragraph that is confusing. There must be a way to convey the information in more organized shorter sentences. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rusty5231B (talk • contribs) 01:37, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
