the title
[edit]The title 皇后 in Chinese generally tranlate as empress consort, 王后 generally tranlate as queen consort, and the title 王妃 or 妃 generally tranlate as princess consort. Why 裴王后 tranlate as Princess Pei but not Queen Pei? The title 王 in Chinese may refer to a prince (include the title 親王, 郡王, or a blood prince, i.e. the son, the brother or the fath of the emperor) or a king. Usually the title prince is given to whom usually does not have the power to rule, and his wife is called 王妃. But a king is a ruler and his wife is called 王后. In this case, the title of 涼王 should not only a prince but a king, also refer to the title of the wife of 涼王 is 王后 but not 王妃.
