Princess Margaret (disambiguation) → Princess Margaret – There are other princesses named Margaret. This is a result of Anglocentric bias. Interstellarity (talk) 00:35, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose and procedural close - While I also opposed the proposed move to move Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon's article to the propose title, she is clearly the WP:PTOPIC, regardless of the appearance of Anglocentric bias [1]. I must also caution the assumption by the nominator that the treatment of the sister of Elizabeth II as being "a result of Anglocentric bias", when it is simply in line with a clear primary topic.
- Apart from the perceived of violation of WP:GLOBAL, which is easily negated, there is simply no policy base for the move.
- In regards to procedural close, I find it improper to have two open RMs proposing to articles be moved to the same title, or more generally two open RMS regarding the same general subject. Estar8806 (talk) 01:27, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- I second this. Tim O'Doherty (talk) 07:24, 11 April 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. How is it Anglocentric bias when all those on the list actually called Margaret were English/British anyway? That makes no sense whatsoever. Clear primary redirect in any case. -- Necrothesp (talk) 10:21, 12 April 2023 (UTC)
- There are at least two people on the list called Margaret who were not British, Princess Margaret of Prussia and Princess Margaret of Denmark. 98.228.137.44 (talk) 20:31, 15 April 2023 (UTC)
- Who were actually called Margarethe and Margrethe respectively! -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:31, 17 April 2023 (UTC)
