Umm, if she died in 1896, how can be a pic from her be in the article from 1899???

It was first published after her death.RichardBond (talk) 06:43, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On that note, while the article states she sold baskets through Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, the Shop didn't open until 1899. Her baskets may have been sold through there, but not while she was alive. Maybe another shop? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.4.64 (talk) 10:54, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I guess that could be. RichardBond (talk) 23:28, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I think that Ye Olde Curiousity Shop may have made a market in her baskets. She made part of her living by making and selling them. My family lived in downtown and then later in First Hill. There were often children of parents from the neighborhood at her house. She was considered a safe person for them to spend time with and she was paid for that, informal daycare. At least that is what comes down from our oral tradition my grandmother being among them.RichardBond (talk) 19:54, 28 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
