Issue?
[edit]There is no issue listed here, nor anyone as wife or mistress, yet the "Potential marriage" section has Sarah Miles as his grand-daughter. The only citation was a dead link; does anyone have any information about this? Or a decent source? Swanny18 (talk) 22:39, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
- The only published source would appear to be Sarah Miles's book mentioned in the footnote. However, Frank Remnant was born 25 February 1894 and baptised 1 April 1894 at Mortlake when he was described as the son of Frank & Georgina Remnant, of 6 Waldeck Terrace, Mortlake, coachman. He seems to have been the fourth of eight children of the couple who in the 1911 census of South Tottenham said that they had been married 24 years, but their marriage cannot be found. The family story may well have been invented, in a very characteristic way, to draw attention away from that unfortunate fact. AnthonyCamp (talk) 17:23, 17 February 2018 (UTC).
