Coloma published a very comprehensive article (free available). So it would be not so difficult to use the available data for the Wikipedia article AND please use the IUCN status only when it is actually accessed in the IUCN Red List --Melly42 (talk) 17:45, 6 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No, it wouldn't. In that article (p. 29) Coloma says, "Hyloscirtus princecharlesi herein is considered as Endangered (A3ce IUCN criteria) due to a suspected population size reduction of ≥ 50% suspected to be met within the next 10 years, where the reduction or its causes may not have ceased" – isn't this sufficient citation for it having an IUCN status of Endangered? This isn't my area, but doesn't it mean it will appear in the official list shortly? joe•roetc 09:20, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

princecharlesi? Really?

[edit]

That reads like a bad parody. Couldn't it have been princepscarolus instead? Robin S. Taylor (talk) 21:31, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
