- * 14 July 1868 Speedy and Alamayou land at Plymouth, Dietrichsen And Hannay's Royal Almanack and Nautical and Astronomical Ephemeris.
- * 15 July 1868 Alamayou visits Queen Victoria, Illustrated London News.
- * 26 Jan 1869 Speedy takes Alamayou to India to be educated (they return 1871), Dictionary of Dates, and Universal Reference: Abyssinia.
- * 3 March 1870 Victoria’s sons, visiting India, meet Alamayou and Speedy in Lukimpore, Notes of the visits to India of their Royal Highnesses the Prince of Wales.
- * 18 April 1874 £700 annually reserved for Alamayou’s expenses, The Civil Service Estimates.
