I'm afraid this article falls a good way short of the GA standards, and I think it requires a fair amount of further work before it's ready. The following issues should really be addressed:

  • The lead image is of a very low quality, and apparently cuts out part of the cover (or is it meant to?). Something like this would be a good replacement.
  • The article lacks a personnel section, or any information about who was involved in the album.
  • You list a lot of reviews from very good sources, but you haven't actually written a reception section. You should incorporate information from those reviews into the article itself.
  • Avoid undue personification- The Washington Post doesn't say anything- Chris Richards, writing in The Washington Post, says something. Also avoid links within quotes (per MOS:QUOTE) and be aware of punctuation (see MOS:LQ)
  • Template:Tracklisting may be useful. At the least, we need track times and an indication of who wrote the music/songs.
  • Any sales figures? Did it chart?
  • Where was it recorded? When was the music written? What was the inspiration for the music? There's surely a lot more to be said about the album's background.

This makes a good start- or C-class article, but I'm afraid it is somewhere below the bar for GAC. As it fails WP:WIAGA#3a, I'm afraid I'm going to close the review at this time. Once the article has been expanded further, and you've dealt with the issues I've raised above, then it will be ready for GAC. I'll be watching this page, and you're also welcome to contact me on my talk page if I can be of any help. J Milburn (talk) 18:25, 10 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
