Article rename recommendation

[edit]

The current name "Priesthood Restoration" is generic and could probably benefit from using the qualifier "Aaronic Priesthood" to avoid confusion, as Latter-day Saints have both an Aaronic and a Melchizedek priesthood and there are artworks depicting the restoration of both (which occurred during two separate events). While recently expanding the article, I noticed the sculpture was referred to as the "Aaronic Priesthood Memorial/Monument" or the "Restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood" in the sources I looked at. I would recommend we consider renaming the article to: "Restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood (sculpture)" Beneathtimp (talk) 23:37, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Beneathtimp I created the article based on the Save Outdoor Sculpture entry, but we've seen entries from this survey sometimes use incorrect titles. You won't face resistance from me if you move the page, but you might consider following the instructions at WP:RM#CM to start a formal process and allow others to weigh in.
