'Minerals' is an album, not an EP
[edit]The Minerals release constitutes a full album, not an EP, given that it is 12 tracks long and has a total run-time of 41 minutes. Also, all the rhetoric on the benbecula site advertises this release as "a full length album of oddities". See: http://www.benbecula.com/release/various/minerals_series.shtml
I gather this fact may have helped assuage certain concerns during the recent deletion debate. Out of hypersensitivity to maintaining a NPOV, I hesitate to make the change myself. I'll let the facts speak for themselves, and some kind soul speak for me. :) BFD1 20:15, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
Post-script: to be fair, the article as it stands right now is misleading in that it suggests that the "first full-length" will be released in 2007. I submit that that line should be changed to read, "first full-length of new material" or something along those lines, if not removed entirely. Admittedly, I originally added it to the article in haste without fully considering the consequences. BFD1 20:22, 1 June 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed and fixed. Thanks for the info. OZLAWYER talk 12:25, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
John Hood Controversy
[edit]I really don't see what the John Hood controversy is doing on this page. The edits by User:BFD1 are an improvement, but I see no reason not to revert it straight back to the version of 2nd May 2007. Jonathan A Jones 13:49, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, there isn't even any commentary on the edits in the student newspaper article (such as whether they are "good" or not). He's edited plenty of other articles too. Seems useless information. I've removed it. Lexicon (talk) 14:49, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
