Talk:Prevention of Terror Ordinance
Appearance
The correct Hebrew name is פקודה למניעת טרור, pkuda limniat terror. The ordinance was superceded in 2016 by he:חוק המאבק בטרור, chok hamaavak beterror, The law of struggle against terror. I cannot edit the article myself due to restricted access. Ilyats (talk) 12:07, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- I agree on the authority of the original. But that is hardly the worst error in this terrible article. The worst is "Composed in 1948, the Ordinance was brought to bear by the rapid formation of the fedayoun, marauding gangs of Palestinian refugees supported by Israel [sic], Jordan, or Syria that committed acts of terror against civilians." No, it was promulgated immediately after the assassination of Folke Bernadotte to force the disbandment of the Lehi. A lot of work is required before this article meets a reasonable standard. - The name in Hebrew was fixed, but the old transcription remained. Ilyats (talk) 07:20, 29 June 2018 (UTC)
