This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because although Pressparty.com looks at first glance to be just another music news or "gossip" site (although many of those are not similarly tagged), it works differently from those in that it is used by music industry professionals (artists/labels/PR companies), who register (free of charge) to upload their own press releases directly to the site, but it is still a public site. That makes it important in that it is unusual (possibly unique in the UK but I can't be sure), and provides music fans with news sources direct from the industry, that haven’t been ‘tampered’ with by journalists. It does still include articles (though the writers meticulously avoid gossip and speculation) but a huge archive of press releases remains available to the public. It's like a press release database or library.

Pressparty also supports charities by giving them free publicity in the form of space on the front page and amongst the stories. Charities currently supported include the Amy Winehouse Foundation and Adam Lambert's Charity:Water. Unlike other sites, due to personal history, it is a major objective of Pressparty to raise awareness of charities supported by the music industry.

Not all this information is clear from the article. However, it is difficult to write certain details, such as the charity emphasis, without sounding promotional.
