Hans-Gert Pöttering

[edit]

We will have to add the results from today's election. – Kaihsu 11:40, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Salary etc

[edit]

Anyone know theses details? I can't find them. We should build this section, and keep an eye on the result of this news as it will be something we should mention. - J Logan t: 17:22, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Election

[edit]

The references in the election section are now out of date. They will need updating if a reputable source includes the new information on the Father of the House amendment. Stephen Knight (talk) 11:31, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vice-presidents

[edit]

The page on the EP links to the section on Vice-presidents on this page. However, there is not such section here. 134.58.253.55 (talk) 10:00, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which link would that be? Probably just wasn't updated when the info here was shipped out to Vice President of the European Parliament.- J.Logan`t: 14:01, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What does the color coding in the charts stand for?

[edit]

Title says it all. 71.194.207.192 (talk) 23:03, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Parties. Obviously.- J.Logan`t: 06:06, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No it doesn't, so it isn't as obvious as that. It looks like a coding of where in the political spectrum (socialist, democrat, conservative, etc.) the office holder's party's group is. A key or explanation would be useful. Bazza (talk) 09:59, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
That is what I mean, red for the Socialist group, blue for the CD/EPP, dark blue for the Con/ED and yellow for the liberals. You can see an index of the exact colours agreed on the talk page of the political groups article.- J.Logan`t: 13:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Who is the new person?

[edit]

Jerzy Buzek is no longer president of the European Parliament. Who is the new guy/gal? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skysong263 (talkcontribs) 17:19, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Can anyone tell me if previous presidents of the EP are still addressed as "President X" as is the case with US presidents? Rumiton (talk) 14:53, 5 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
