I'm looking for help with accepted industry and academic terminology for this article. Different places people use different terms, which can be confusing.
I'm also looking for some insight on historical practices up to today.

Materials used in Color Proofing
[edit]I completed an apprenticeship as a Lithographic Platemaker & Color Combiner in Australia in the late 1970's. Whilst color proofing, the process was known as Chromalin proofing and CMY&K - black powders were used to complete a proof on laminated sheets. My question is, were there any known health risks or subsequent health (noteably respiratory problems) from being exposed to the superfine powders used in the proofing process? If so, these health problems would only have emerged in people some years, possibly decades after exposure. Would love to hear discussion on this topic should anyone know.
