Arguments against deletion

Hello to anyone reading this. I see this page has been deleted (twice?) before, which I did not notice before creating it. However, I believe there are several arguments in defence of the existence of the page and I am willing to provide them for anyone in opposition of its existence.

Firstly, I cannot see the former versions of the page prior to its deletion, other than a few words from the creation/deletion logs. It is possible that it was not made to fit the manual of style, etc., which does not have any effect on the page's current version. I believe that having it made as I have now, adhering to the same standard as every other Premier League award page, has its own merits, benefiting the overall comprehensiveness of the information regarding the most popular football league in the world on Wikipedia.

Secondly, while it is a relatively new award, it is one that has been advertised quite a lot, along with the Premier League Save of the Season (both sponsored by Castrol) and the Premier League Most Powerful Goal award, each having its own page.

If anyone has any arguments in favour of the page's deletion (hopefully other than the sources included; not many news websites post about such awards anyway), then please do engage in this discussion. Thanks, Vasil3fonov (talk) 12:34, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
