Fair use rationale for Image:Praxairlogo.png

Image:Praxairlogo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Environmental

I am removing the passage that says: "Praxair products, services and technology bring productivity ****and environmental benefits**** to a wide variety of industries, ranging from aerospace, food and beverage, healthcare, semiconductor materials,steel, chemicals and refining, metal fabrication, water treatment, to glass and others."

It sounds like someone input that in the environmental section so that we will see that Praxair does things that benefit society. That's fine, but it has nothing to do with the environment. The "and environmental benefits" part just seems to be stuck in there in order to put it under the environmental section, and does not fit. It's obviously not neutral, and I'm sure this article was not written by an unbiased party. 63.95.64.254 (talk) 16:30, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Why is this page justa copy and paste of the Corporate website? This explains the "environment" spin on the text. Also, there is no mention in the history of Praxairs previous names, ownership under Union Carbide, or the fact that the company is protrayed an an "all american" company when if fact it has a large German connection to Carl von Linde, and I think it was only during WWII that it was taken over by the American government. History

The history as stated in the article is not correct, the company was founded by Linde Gas as a substitute in the US. During WW2 it was disowned by the governement of the US, due to the fact Linde is a German company. Disasters and Explosions

There appears to be quite a bit of white washing with this article. In addition to the Union Carbide disaster, the article does not mention the St. Louis Explosion in 2005, where gas tanks took off like ICBMs in some cases damaging buildings and property.
