Revisions to this article
[edit]I have added a brief history, a band bio box, an album grid, plus some trivia. The reference numbering needs to be fixed (I'll try to figure out what the deal is). Feel free to add additional info in the history section. A personal note: I am a long time fan and their former manager is a friend of my family. Andy 01:23, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
- I fixed the reference. Andy 17:24, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
I corrected the release info for the first EP; that CD box thing was only the 1999 reissue in Century Media's "Combat Classics" series. --84.184.184.74 03:13, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Tommy Victor's singing is not high pitched. I think a better comparison overall would be Flotsam and Jetsam, maybe Toxik.69.4.127.94 06:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
Moved some text from the History section to the Introduction on top, since an explanation of how they play and sing doesn't belong to the History section. I also removed some info about the CD-release in 2007 (since it's still not released). Added a link to their official zip-file download for absolute Power and The Madness Begins... (one big file). -->>---A---> (talk) 11:40, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
MTV News intro
[edit]Hasn't their songSlaughterhouse also been used as the opening riff for MTV News in Europe when MTV was launched there in the late 80s and for several years after? --EnOreg (talk) 15:29, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
New album Infinite and a lot of edits
[edit]A lot of things have happened in the Powermad camp. A new album was released about a week ago, and they have changed and updated their websites (facebook and homepage for example).
- I changed the introduction text a bit and removed the Death Angel and Flotsam stuff. Even though it's true never liked having it in the intro text.
- I changed the entire History to reflect that Absolute Power was not their last album, and added some information about the new album and on how to get it.
- I changed the members section too, since someone had added some jazz(!) musicians to it. I also added Dodd who have been with them on touring. Not sure if this was only around 2007 when they were at Bang Your Head festival. Since Todd is the head brewer at Surly Brewing I know they have played some shows there - and Dodd have probably been a part of those too.
- Links are updated since the band have changed some of them. Not sure there's a point even having MySpace there, since they don't update thir page there anymore.
