[edit]This article draft page will only be published if Williams wins the election. As such, MP is present tense and CEO is past tense. Schwede66 19:33, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- This article should not contain information suggesting Williams is a current Member of Parliament, even if intended as a project page in preparation for her successful election. Despite the page not being published until such time as she is elected, it is publically accessible and is currently being used to suggest that Ms Williams is being presumptuous about her chances (http://www.whaleoil.co.nz/2013/10/cv-embellishing-appears-labour-party-policy/#more-112264) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.48.26.194 (talk) 23:35, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
- It's not an article, but a draft page, and I've clarified this using a banner message. It will only be published if she wins. It does not matter what Cameron Slater thinks. Schwede66 19:26, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- Do you have a draft page for other candidates?? It sure looks more like you have an agenda, mate. Shameful. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.37.171.100 (talk) 22:20, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- You can read up on the 'agenda' on this page. And yes, if we get opinion polls that show that it will be a close race, there will be at least one other draft page. If you wish to start another draft page at this point, please say for which candidate and we'll set the page up for you, but note that it's most likely that only the winner's page will be published to meet notability requirements. - (editconflict) Absolutely there is a list of other potential MPs as this is the normal process the project goes through. see [1]. If you would like to draft a similar article for any other candidate likely to win an election and become notable under the policy then please go ahead. It may be helpful if you create a log in with wikipedia first. Mattlore (talk) 23:27, 6 October 2013 (UTC)
- So, there has been an article where Labour is saying that the race will be closer than ever imagined and that thigns are not as good for Labour, given that in the last elections in that electorate they have not won the party vote. Where is the "other candidate's draft page"? You are losing so much credibility with this, it is not even amusing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.69.31.213 (talk) 02:53, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

- You obviously don't follow politics very closely, do you? Show me the election or by-election where the 'leading party' isn't saying something along the lines of "it's a damn close race and we simply must pull all strings or otherwise we may lose". Similarly, every half-pie serious candidate always says that they may well get elected, even if they know that they have no chance whatsoever. The members of the politics work group are not fussed by those fluffy statements. What we will be paying attention to are the opinion polls that will start coming out soon. And if they show a close race, that's when we will start a draft article for Matthew Doocey. In the meantime, who is holding you back from writing that article yourself? Click this link and just go for it. Schwede66 04:44, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
