The current name seems formatted unusually as it is most often known as the Postal Union Congress £1 stamp per the British Postal Museum & Archive's search page or maybe PUC £1 stamp though the former is more descriptive. None of the GB stamps found at List of postage stamps uses the British prefix and many of the other stamps don't have a country prefix either based on the fact that stamps that justify their own stand-alone article are well known enough by their own name and don't need a country prefix.
