Merger Needed
[edit]The great bulk of both articles comprises the same text. NoelWalley 23:39, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Freaky - history makes it seems as though I created both independently about six months apart, somehow using nearly the exact same words each time. Anyway, it's cleaned up now, I hope. Stan 07:45, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
slight inaccuracy
[edit]"any unused stamp is effectively equivalent to its face value" Afaict at least in the UK this is not strictly true, some stamps do have a monetary face value but others are labeled with a class of service (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 1st large etc). Afaict one can gain a (small) financial advantage by buying such stamps just before a postage price increase. 20:21, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
