Seattle Steam Company is on Post Avenue but I'm not sure if it should be listed here. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:15, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I went ahead and included. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:45, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Length of alley

[edit]

The city publishes an alleys GIS dataset [1]. If you tote up the segments comprising Post Alley, it comes out to somewhere between 1200 and 1500 feet, considerably less than doing a couple of contiguous lines on an online map. The discrepancy is mostly because they only show segments between the cross streets, excluding especially the missing length at the Pike Place Market main entrance and the Harbor Steps pedestrian plaza. There's also a minor discrepancy between the online map service I used and the GIS: the former categorized the Seneca-Spring block as Post Avenue, the latter categorized it as Post Alley (street signs actually disagree with the GIS dataset in this case). I'll leave the data in the infobox as-is, but someone else might want to discuss it. ☆ Bri (talk) 02:29, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
