[edit]Hey Jeremy! Your article is very informative and well written. I just have a few suggestions: This sentence: "Even after the departure of the Roman Army its location and strong walls made it attractive as a fortress, and it became an Anglo-Saxon high-status residence with great hall and tower, and the Roman gateways were rebuilt." first needs a comma after Army and also sounds a little wordy. Maybe it could be reworked a little Also, the sections you split your article up in seem to be chronological, but I was a little confused as far as the timeline of the site. Overall, it looks really good! Susan
Hi Jeremy. You have written a well chronologically organized encyclopedia article that includes interesting details along the way. I especially liked the reference to the Notitia dignitatum. Since this fort has been occupied for such a long time, you might consider citing so more references to it from historical literature. Other than that and some grammatical errors, I think your article is good to go!

In the first paragraph - "...and was later converted..." the later refers to no earlier event. Has a build date been deleted? I note a similar hanging sentence in the Portchester article. Aidanr444 04:23, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
