Crowd?
[edit]The article that I found in the Eastern Argus June 4th, 1855 charachterizes the crowd as peaceful.
"The whole affair was the merest boy's play, done in the most apparent good nature and with the least possible excitement. Indeed nearly the whole crowd seemed to be there without other purpose than curiousity to see what might be done and those who threw the missles were without leaders, or apparent power to do harm."
I'm not entirely sure the article isn't somewhat biased. We are talking about throwing rocks. 3KpCo8n0 (talk) 21:46, 3 November 2006
