London and India Docks Company
[edit]As I am not a docks historian, and it is OR, two links - Science Museum and Police. From TNA's Discovery there are files at The National Archives (United Kingdom) and the Parliamentary Archives Jackiespeel (talk) 20:02, 13 October 2023 (UTC)

[edit]According to this Port of London Authority Limited was dissolved 17 January 2023 - so what changed? Jackiespeel (talk) 19:50, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
- Nothing, I think. That was just a off-the-shelf limited company PLA established in 1991, but which doesn't seem to have done anything, the two £1 shares were owned by the PLA's Chairman and CEO, who were also its directors, and it filed accounts as a dormant company, with no assets. Perhaps an intended purpose that didn't materialise. Anyway not of any significance to us. As a statutory corporation the PLA itself operates under the Port of London Authority Act, rather than normal company law. - Davidships (talk) 09:26, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
