I think it is properly categorized. Please remove that tag.7&6=thirteen (talk) 03:26, 21 February 2008 (UTC)Stan[reply]

Picture needed

[edit]

This article would greatly benefit from a picture of this unique lighthouse. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 23:35, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Stan[reply]

History needed

[edit]

I've put in lots of references and external links. We need someone else to glean a history (with appropriate references) from that material, presumably. This article is short in that department. Compare the Terry Pepper article and see for yourself. Thanks. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 22:11, 27 February 2008 (UTC)Stan[reply]

Question

[edit]

Does the fourth order Fresnel lens and light beam have a range of 13 miles, or 16 miles? The article currently uses both numbers. This is significant because of the light's range was 16 miles in all directions, then it could have completely closed the 30-mile darkness gap along the shore of Michigan's Thumb that was the reason for the light's construction.
