In 1964 Echo Bay Mines Ltd reopend the mine to mne the silver deposits, this mine ran untils it was closed in 1982. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.25.192.4 (talk) 17:33, 25 October 2009 (UTC)
- I believe the official name was Port Radium, not Echo Bay as stated - I was born in Port Radium, and that is what is on my birth certificate. Haven't found good reference to refute claim yet. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cymm (talk • contribs) 02:31, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- I reckon Port Radium is the location, Echo Bay is a mine operator (Ltd.), Eldorado is the name given to the mine near Port Radium, but also that of an operator (Eldorado Gold Mines Limited). --85.2.45.112 (talk) 16:37, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
