hi I m student of mechanical engineering & i m trying to collect some material regarding heat transfer in porous media if any body have it pls provide me

There is a bit about heat transfer in aquifers in Domenico & Schwartz, but it is limited (see references at end of hydrogeology).
There would be some material in the field of geothermal pumps; there would also be some material in the field of permafrost and frozen soil. I have heard of some heat transfer related research in connection with evaporation of soil water in deep vadose zones. --kris 02:10, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
PS: This isn't really a good place to ask that type of question and you might get more help elsewhere if you phrase your question clearly.

Foams are not porous media?

[edit]

Granzer92 (talk) 05:03, 2 July 2019 (UTC) In the intro to this topic there is a sentence "but structures like foams are often also usefully analyzed using concept of porous media". So does this mean that foams are not porous media but they can still be analysed using the concept of porous media? On the other hand if it is a porous media this point is moot.[reply]
