According to Taki Theodorocopolis, Rubirosa was driving home from a social evening when he crashed his Ferrari in the Bois de Bouloigne in the early hours of July 5th 1965. More research is needed ; there is a link on Google but I am not versed enough to add it to these pages yet, If it pans out then he should be recategorised from "Racing drivers killed while racing" to "Racing drivers killed in non racing motor accidents" As a footnote yes, the idea that he was, shall we say, gifted was an important part (!) of his legend and should stay in the article. There is no question that the important story about the size of his sexual organ must stay, but I think it could be rephrased. What do y'all think about keeping the funny talk inside the quotation marks and making the direct statements more objective sounding? The humor doesn't have to go...Fixifex 03:33, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
